LINO LAKES, Minn. — Six credit unions are planning to soon convert their core processing to Sharetec Systems Inc.'s platform, the company said.

The credit unions and their current core processors (according to the NCUA Web site) are $48 million Great Lakes First FCU of Escanaba, Mich. (Jack Henry & Associates); $34 million Tri-State FCU of Midland, Pa. (IntegraSys); $23 million Haynes Community CU of Kokomo, Ind. (Jack Henry & Associates); $15 million Members Financial FCU of Midland, Texas (Open Solutions Inc.); $12 million Deer River Cooperative CU of Deer River, Minn. (CUSA Technologies), and $9 million Dubuque Teachers CU of Dubuque, Iowa (Harland Financial Solutions).

Sharetec Systems platforms are now in use at more than 300 credit unions, the company said. Sharetec (www.sharetec.com) is owned by the four companies that distribute its platform: Bradford-Scott Data Corp. of Fort Wayne, Ind., Data Systems of Texas in Waco, Texas; Northern Data Systems of Falmouth, Maine, and GBS Inc. in Youngstown, Ohio.
