SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- The California Department of FinancialInstitutions will swear in new DFI commissioner Bill Haraf duringthe league's Government Relations Rally April 7 or 8, according tooutgoing league vice president of state government affairs RonFong.

Once Haraf is sworn in, the DFI is expected to name a new DeputyCommissioner of Credit Unions to replace former deputy ElizabethDooley, who left the position three months ago to take over as CEOof $1.6 billion Educational Employees Credit Union in Fresno.
