SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Highlighting the importance of protecting seniors from financial fraud, Juli Anne Callis, executive vice president and chief operating officer of KeyPoint Credit Union here has been named to the board of directors of the Elder Financial Protection Network.

Although Callis has been recognized for her contributions in the credit unions world, she has quietly volunteered time and work over the years to the cause of preventing senior citizens from financial schemes and investment fraud. Previously, she held the position of Director of Services for the Elderly for Greene and Lenoir Counties in North Carolina, working there with local, state and federal organizations to bring meals on wheels and provide health care at congregate centers.

Jennifer Duane, CEO and executive director of EFPN said she was delighted that Callis had joined the Board. "Her experience and passion for supporting the safety and independence of seniors will be a valuable addition to our dynamic team."
