MADISON, Wis. — CUNA Brokerage Services, Inc. recently honored 27 financial advisers with its inaugural Women of Distinction award for their superior performance and contribution to the financial services industry in 2007.

In addition to the advisory work, each award recipient was also recognized for generating a minimum of $250,000 in revenue last year. The award winners will participate in a mentoring program offered through CBSI designed to foster the growth of women new to the financial services industry.

The award ceremony took place at CBSI's recent FOCUS 2008 national sales conference in Atlanta.
