DURHAM, N.C. — The Winston-Salem Foundation has awarded a $100,000 grant to Latino Community Development Center to support the opening of a Forsyth County Latino Community Credit Union branch in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

According to the Foundation, Forsyth County has the third largest Latino population in the state, yet has no financial institution and education tailored to the needs of Latinos.
