MADISON, Wis. — CUES has named the winners of three partial scholarships for its 2008 CEO Institute program: Boyd Gustke, chief lending officer, Connexus Credit Union; Callie Huff, chief marketing /education officer, NationsHeritage FCU; and Thomas Vigueras, president/CEO, Health Associates FCU.

This partial scholarship is for credit union executives who are active CUES members, full-time paid credit union staff members, and committed to attending the entire three-year CEO Institute program.

CEO Institute is a challenging academic and leadership learning opportunity tailored specifically for credit union executives. The program is held over three years at three of the nation's most respected centers for executive education: The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia; Johnson Graduate School of Management, Cornell University, Ithaca, N.Y.; and Darden Graduate School of Business Administration, University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Va.

Since 1995, 360 credit union executives have completed the CEO Institute program. Executives who complete all three years of the CEO Institute program and two post-segment projects are eligible to become Certified Chief Executives — to date, 289 have earned their CCE.
