ODESSA, Texas — Members of First Basin Credit Union arecontinuing to press for the CU to hold its annual meeting wherethey could vote for new board candidates.

The members said the CU generally holds its annual meeting inMarch but that it has not set a meeting date for this month. Thecredit union has not yet confirmed this.

Members praised the credit union for withdrawing its applicationto convert to a mutual bank but are still pressing for the annualmeeting where they plan to mount their own candidates. Previouslythe credit union had merely “suspended” its charter change effortand appeared to leave the door open to continue.
