FARMERS BRANCH, Texas — Texas voters go to the polls on March 4 for the presidential primary, and if a poll on the Democratic side by the Texas Credit Union League provides any clues, Hillary Clinton looked to be ahead of Barack Obama at press time.

The poll, an annual rite of the league, is commissioned when a primary or general election is held. This year it surveyed 800 potential voters who were asked about state and federal issues.

The polling firms, both headquartered in the Washington, D.C. area, also asked Texans their opinions about CUs. Voters have a favorable view of CUs by a wide margin, according to the league.
