SUITLAND, Md. — Andrews Federal Credit Union wants consumers to know that it is a great time to develop a savings program to plan their financial future.

To that end the credit union has launched the new AndrewSaver program to coincide with America Saves and Military Saves, two national programs slated to run from February 24 to March 2. With an eye on making it easy to save the program is an ongoing savings vehicle designed to encourage members to set a goal and make a monthly commitment to save.

The AndrewSaver account requires only five dollars to open and dividends can be earned with a balance of just $25. The account includes a Five Steps to Greater Savings guide, American Saver quarterly newsletter, no monthly or minimum balance fees for one year and access to free financial counseling and seminars provided by the Member Education Department.
