LONG BEACH, Miss. — Triton, an ATM manufacturer specializing in providing lower cost machines for the credit union and small bank market, is promoting membership in Select-A-Branch.

Select-A-Branch is an ATM network primarily located now in Pennsylvania and New York but plans to expand. Its market niche rests in its software which enables its ATMs to mimic the appearance and offerings of the ATM of participating institution's cards. Thus if one member walks up with one participating CU's card, he or she will see the same screen from the Select-A-Branch ATM that they would at one of the institution's machines.

The network also has a pay-per-use structure that makes it attractive to smaller credit unions as well. Triton will be demonstrating Select-A-Branch on its ATMs at its booth during CUNA's Government Affairs Conference.
