Salt Lake Marketer New Communications Head at Utah League

SALT LAKE CITY -- A Salt Lake City marketing executive who formerly served as a campaign advisor to U.S. Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, is the new director of communications for the Utah League of Credit Unions.

SALT LAKE CITY — A Salt Lake City marketing executive who formerly served as a campaign advisor to U.S. Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, is the new director of communications for the Utah League of Credit Unions.

He is Jim Bennett who has been a consultant for the league and ran his own marketing firm here. He succeeds Robert Ahlander who resigned the job at year-end. Ahlander had long been identified as helping guide various league ad campaigns including “Bob the Credit Union Guy” which has since been licensed to leagues in several locales.
