AUSTIN, Texas — A+ Federal Credit Union and the local Austin Fox 7 station have recently announced the three families chosen as finalists for the Savings Challenge '08.
The families will compete for a $10,000 grand prize that will be awarded to the family that shows the most progress toward achieving its financial goals. During their extreme financial makeover, these families will be challenged to increase their savings and eliminate debt.
The family finalists are: the de Alcala Family, Meyer Family, and Schievelbein Family.
