BIRMINGHAM, AL. -- The 2008 edition of Who's Who inAmerica's Credit Unions includes 8,804 unsung heroes and highprofile leaders of the credit union movement.

"There were high profile leaders whose names we all know thatgained induction, but there were thousands of unsung heroes of themovement as well," said Kirk Cuevas president/CEO of Who's Whoin America's Credit Unions. "This was the purpose inestablishing the Who's Who program, and we couldn't bemore thrilled with the first year response."

There were 10,000 nominations received nationwide and the finalinductees were selected based upon accomplishments and service of aminimum five years or other compensating experience. The inauguraledition of Who's Who in America's Credit Unions annualpublication will available for purchase in May 2008.
