BOSSIER CITY, La. — After 24 years of leading Barksdale FederalCredit Union President/CEO Arno Easterly is retiring.

Easterly, who has dedicated some 48 years to serving the creditunion industry, helped Barksdale FCU grow from $75 million tonearly $700 million in assets, increase staff from 75 to 300 andlocations from two to 17. Prior to joining Barksdaly he waspresident/CEO of the Campus FCU at LSU. He's also the past chairmanand an original incorporator of Credit Union Cooperative Branching,a group of 42 credit unions building and sharing branches andproviding reciprocal member services.

Barksdale FCU didn't have to look too far to find Easterly'ssuccessor. Executive Vice President/Chief Operations Officer RodTaylor has been selected as the new president/CEO.
