FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — The “BizKid$” credit union show is due fora plug on Monday's NBC “Today” show, the Washington Credit UnionLeague said Friday.
|The mention in a Today segment profiling a “Biz Kid”entrepreneur is slated to air during the 8:30 hour and involves aninterview with a Spokane youngster.
|Expressing delight at promoting the public broadcasting show onone of the networks, RoxAnne Kruger, senior vice president of theleague and national BizKid$ coordinator, noted that the Seattleproducers “have been pitching the show concept to the Today showfor some time and the results of that effort have proven out.”
|Under the scheduling scenario, the youngster who was onlyidentified as “Christian” and a member of Junior AchievementWorldwide, will fly to Manhattan this weekend to do the liveinterview “with one of the main anchors.” The interview will thenbe followed up with a piece by Today's financial reporter JeanChatzky with a focus on raising financially savvy kids.
|“Naturally, we know that the program schedule is subject tochange if a major news breaking story pops up,” said Kruger.
