FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — The “BizKid$” credit union show is due fora plug on Monday's NBC “Today” show, the Washington Credit UnionLeague said Friday.

The mention in a Today segment profiling a “Biz Kid”entrepreneur is slated to air during the 8:30 hour and involves aninterview with a Spokane youngster.

Expressing delight at promoting the public broadcasting show onone of the networks, RoxAnne Kruger, senior vice president of theleague and national BizKid$ coordinator, noted that the Seattleproducers “have been pitching the show concept to the Today showfor some time and the results of that effort have proven out.”

Under the scheduling scenario, the youngster who was onlyidentified as “Christian” and a member of Junior AchievementWorldwide, will fly to Manhattan this weekend to do the liveinterview “with one of the main anchors.” The interview will thenbe followed up with a piece by Today's financial reporter JeanChatzky with a focus on raising financially savvy kids.

“Naturally, we know that the program schedule is subject tochange if a major news breaking story pops up,” said Kruger.
