PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Greylock Federal Credit Union latest donation to the Financial Literacy Program in the Pittsfield Public Schools is helping the area's youth become more financially savvy.

In collaboration with Girl's Incorporated of The Berkshires, a program of the Gladys Allen Brigham Community Center in Pittsfield, over the past two years Greylock FCU has donated $10,000 to the program. The contribution enables Girl's Inc. to present a nationally accredited program helping young people make smart financial decisions.

Greylock FCU President Angelo Stracuzzi said, "This program is important because it will help these students reach their full potential in life. Greylock strongly believes financial literacy empowers young people in our community. Working with Girl's Inc. we can help young people to be better managers of their personal finances and help them avoid poor decisions that may come back to haunt them as adults."
