INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Credit Union League laid claim Thursday to securing blanket TV coverage for the BizKid$ literacy show on all eight public broadcasting stations in the state.
"We're quite happy our foundation not only has been able to fund the production for BizKid$ but also has been able to do the underwriting on all of our stations," said a league spokeswoman.
As taglines at the beginning and end of each show, the league is broadcasting CU awareness commercials produced by CUNA several years ago but that fit the Public Broadcasting System format, she said.

In a staggered schedule, the show is being aired on stations in Indianapolis, Muncie, Bloomington, Evansville, South Bend/Elkhart, Merrillville, Fort Wayne and Vincennes.
"To be part of the group that is bringing quality programming with a financial focus to young people across the country is exciting," said Barbara Berghoff, chairman of the Indiana Credit Union Foundation and president/CEO of PROFED CU, Fort Wayne. "And to help bring the show to viewers throughout the state of Indiana on behalf of our state's credit unions is tremendous."
