LENEXA, Kan. — Looking to build new streams of business, Waterloo Community Financial Services, a CUSO holding company of $1.2 billion Veridian Credit Union, has partnered with Beyond Marketing, LLC, a strategic planning, market research and marketing CUSO.

Veridian CU is seeking to leverage its long-term financial future by increasing non-interest income through new businesses, partnerships, and strategic alliances similar in nature to its investment in Beyond Marketing, said Denny Skelton, senior vice president for strategic alliances at Waterloo Community Financial Services.

“We actively seek new collaborative opportunities, and this new partnership will facilitate our ability to market other new business initiatives,” Skelton said.

Waterloo Community Financial owns Members Insurance, LLC, a personal lines insurance agency and offers group travel services to Veridian members through a partnership with TCU Travel. The CUSO is also an investor in Co-operative Payroll Solutions, LLC, one of three CUSOs under the CU Holding Company umbrella, which also owns XtraCash, LLC and TruHome Solutions, LLC.
