WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — Robins Federal Credit Union showed its community spirit and support by honoring their local American Little League World Series Champions.

The credit union gave the 13 players and three coaches of the Warner Robins American Little League team leather, letterman-style jackets.

It was a project that had been in the works for several months as Robins Federal staffers tried to locate just the right memento. “When I saw them win on T.V., I thought that we needed to do something special for those young men. They have worked very hard to get where they are” said Robins Federal CEO John Ruffin. “We wanted to give them something unique, something they would have for years to come. We wanted to remind them of that special day when they became champions.”

Eight of the players and two of the coaches were in attendance for a special presentation at Robins Federal's Hwy 96 branch. “They were a real nice group of young men. They were very thankful for the jackets,” said Robins Federal Executive Vice President John Rhea. “We believe working hand in hand with the community is a vital part of doing business.”
