LAKEWOOD, N.J. — Credit Union Virtual Assistant is helping credit unions make the most of their newsletters with a new resource–pay-per-download content from www.CreditUnionNewsletters.com.
The content can also be used in newsletters or for any other marketing purpose, such as e-zines, whitepapers and more.
“Not every article or feature is right for every credit union,” says CUVA CEO Laura Enock. “While many of our subscribing credit unions post new content to their Web sites every week, other credit unions may be looking for an occasional article to supplement their newsletter. Pay-per-download is an option that works for them.”
With a focus on financial literacy, categories range from College Credit and Tomorrow's Millionaires to A Penny Saved and even financial cartoons.
“There is an opportunity here for credit unions to take their newsletters beyond just promotional to becoming an educational and informational resource that members look forward to receiving because it's making a real difference in their lives,” said Enock. “It's a chance to include small bite-size pieces of interesting financial education tips that members are more likely to retain.”
Enock added that the goal is to help credit unions not only get their newsletters out in under an hour but also keep the content fresh. Articles are no more than 400 words. In addition, the Web site is constantly updated and even includes such fun extras as Sudoku, clip art, and inspirational quotes. Once the articles have been selected, a simple copy-and-paste function is all that is necessary for credit unions to directly place the content into their newsletters, Web sites, or e-zines.
CUVA publishes CreditUnionNewsletters.com and 80/20 Marketing, a monthly report on credit union marketing.
