TAMPA, Fla. — The 200,000 members of GTE Federal Credit Unioncan now bank with their cell phones.


The $2.1 billion CU has branded its mobile service CU2GO andoffers it through a dedicated, secure mobile access Web site athttps://m.gtefcu.org.


Functionality includes the ability to view balances andtransaction histories, transfer funds and pay bills.


The service was launched after a beta with approximately 2,000members allowed GTE FCU's IT staff to test user-friendliness andcompatibility of the mobile account access with a variety ofhandheld devices.
