BURNSVILLE, Minn. — US Federal Credit Union is helping prepare future voters.

USFCU and the non-partisan, grassroots organization 'Kids Voting Minnesota' have teamed up let kids learn first hand the value and importance of voting.

On Election Day this past November, over 60 children in grades 3-12, visited Precinct 7 in Shakopee, where they voted for running candidates and current issues. Prior to the voting day, the children studied the candidates up for election and were informed how to make an educated decision when voting. USFCU was among a small group of sponsors who supported its community and took part in this unique youth development program.
