NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — Langley Federal Credit Union is marketing its new bill pay service with a message that combines ecology and economics.
The $1.2 billion CU said promoting the ecological advantages of its PayLynx online bill pay service from PSCU Financial Services has helped drive a three-month growth in online subscribers from 2,998 members to 6,802.
The fall promotion included newsletter and Web articles, teller handouts, posters and statement inserts, contests and newspaper advertising.

PSCU Financial Services said it is now developing a turnkey Going Green Marketing Toolkit to help credit unions promote the environmental impact of online bill payments as well as the convenience and cost-savings.
