St. GEORGE, Utah — A branch of the $187 million Beehive CreditUnion, whose members have just been sent the ballots they will useto decide whether their CU will become a mutual bank, has beenrobbed.

Police in St. George, Utah say that the man described as sixfeet tall and white, in his late 20s or 30s with a thin build,unshaven with short brown hair, wearing a ball cap and asweatshirt, passed a note to a bank teller at about 9:15 am on Jan.14 and demanded money.

The police said the robber had not shown or mentioned a weapon.The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of cash. Shortly afterhe walked out of the credit union a dye pack went off, staining thesuspect and the money, the police added.
