BROOKFIELD, Wis. — Fiserv Inc. has completed the sale ofsubstantially all of its health-related businesses toUnitedHealthcare, a $775 million cash transaction announced inNovember.
|The sale includes Fiserv Health, a leading administrator ofmedical benefits, Avidyn Health, a care facilitation business, theFiserv Health Specialty Solutions businesses and Innoviant, apharmacy benefits management business.
|The divestiture will allow Fiserv to focus on its financialservices businesses, the company says. It did retain its workers'compensation services organization and a health bankingoperation.
|UnitedHealthcare is part of Minneapolis-based UnitedHealthGroup.
