LATHAM, N.Y. – U.S. Representative Thomas H. Reynolds (R-Buffalo/Niagara/Rochester area) is the newest member of New York's congressional delegation to add their name to the Credit Union Regulatory Improvements Act's (H.R. 1537) list of supporters, bringing the total number of New York's co-sponsors to 15 and the national number to 138, according to the New York Credit Union League.

Representative Reynolds personally called Don Milton, a board member from Family First of New York FCU, to let him know that he was going to sign on as a CURIA co-sponsor.

“What a great testament to New York's credit unions and their grassroots efforts,” said William J. Mellin, president/CEO, New York State Credit Union League. “Credit union leaders in western New York have been diligently working with the Congressman and seeking his public support for CURIA, and we congratulate them on their successful advocacy efforts.”
