LATHAM, N.Y. – U.S. Representative Thomas H. Reynolds(R-Buffalo/Niagara/Rochester area) is the newest member of NewYork's congressional delegation to add their name to the CreditUnion Regulatory Improvements Act's (H.R. 1537) list of supporters,bringing the total number of New York's co-sponsors to 15 and thenational number to 138, according to the New York Credit UnionLeague.

Representative Reynolds personally called Don Milton, a boardmember from Family First of New York FCU, to let him know that hewas going to sign on as a CURIA co-sponsor.

“What a great testament to New York's credit unions and theirgrassroots efforts,” said William J. Mellin, president/CEO, NewYork State Credit Union League. “Credit union leaders in westernNew York have been diligently working with the Congressman andseeking his public support for CURIA, and we congratulate them ontheir successful advocacy efforts.”
