BOULDER, Colo. — Boulder Valley Credit Union is leading the way toward being the first zero waste financial institution in Boulder.
Partnering with non-profit recycling firm Eco-Cycle, Boulder Valley CU's vision of being an eco-conscious credit union reflects a new era of resource conservation.
"We are excited that Boulder Valley Credit Union made the decision to go beyond recycling by conserving, composting and purchasing eco-friendly products," said Eco-Cycle Zero Waste Services Coordinator, Robin Burton.

Recently the credit union was singled out as the first financial institution to be awarded Partners for a Clean Environment (PACE) certification.
PACE is a voluntary, non-regulatory organization for Boulder County that reviews businesses for their eco-friendly practices. Boulder Valley CU is the first financial institution in Boulder County to meet the requirements necessary for certification.
