ATLANTA — A leading Canadian provider of ATM and transaction processing solutions to credit unions, retailers and other businesses says it will deploy Postilion's payment switching and ATM driving solutions on the IBM AIX UNIX operating system.

Threshold Financial Technologies of Mississauga, Ontario, has been a customer of Postilion, a division of Atlanta-based S1 Corp., for more than seven years.

"The scalability and reliability of Postilion, recently benchmarked with 1,000 transactions per second on IBM System p servers and the DB2 data server, positions processors like Threshold to attract business from larger financial services organizations," said Pierre Naude, senior vice president and general manager of Postilion Americas.
