RENO, Nev. — Dennis Flannigan, executive vice president of the $115 Great Basin Federal Credit Union and a long-time director of the Nevada Credit Union League, has been promoted to CEO of the CU, it was announced Wednesday.
Flannigan has been serving as EVP of Great Basin for 12 years and has been with the Reno CU for nearly 13 years.
He previously served as CEO of Columbia FCU in Maryland and was senior vice president of the Wells Fargo-acquired American Federal Savings.

Last week Flannigan was re-elected to the board of the Nevada league. He is now in his fourth three year-term. Flannian is a business school alum of the University of Nevada at Reno. Great Basin started in 1951 has 15,000 members.
