HIGHTSTOWN, N.J. — Credit Union Times Editor/Publisher Paul Gentile is leaving the leading industry publication to become the new president/CEO of the New Jersey Credit Union League.

Gentile said he was excited about his new role at NJCUL because it brings together two of his great enthusiasms: New Jersey and credit unions. "I think it's a good match," Gentile, who was born and raised in the Garden State, explained. "I also really think credit unions need to get the word out about credit unions."

"The board spent many months searching for an individual that could provide the kind of leadership we need and our credit unions deserve. We think this marks a new day for this league and New Jersey credit unions," NJCUL Chairman Rina Pantano, CEO of NJ Gateway Federal Credit Union in Monmouth Junction. "We welcome Paul and he knows that he has the support of the entire board of directors."
