WASHINGTON — Seasoned credit union lobbyist Debbie Kwon-Moore has recently been hired as the California Credit Union League's lobbyist on federal government affairs.
Kwon-Moore is currently senior legislative representative for CUNA. Prior to that, she served as associate director of legislative affairs at NAFCU for several years. Before her credit union focus, Kwon-Moore served on the staff of Congressman Steven LaTourette (R-Ohio), an original co-sponsor to the Credit Union Regulatory Improvements Act (H.R. 1537).
"Debbie's long-term experience in working with credit union trade associations and legislators in D.C. makes her a valuable addition to our political advocacy team," California/Nevada Credit Union Leagues President/CEO Bill Cheney said.
