PASADENA, Calif. — The $3.9 billion Wescom Credit Union hasbegun to collect money for victims of California's recent spate ofwildfires.

Through the WeCare Foundation, the Wescom employee-runcharitable and volunteer organization, employees and members areable to make donations, which will be matched dollar for dollar bythe Credit Union up to a total of $25,000. The funds WeCarereceives will be donated to the American Red Cross CaliforniaWildfire Relief Fund. Members can make donations at Wescom'sbranches and through its website.

Wescom also provided volunteer assistance to support the SanGabriel Pomona Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross with itsWildfire Donation Drive at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena on Friday,October 26. Wescom employees assisted with the collection and thecounting of the money at the drive. The credit union is handlingthe cash management of the funds for the organization.

In addition, Wescom is offering emergency fire loans to existingmembers who sustained losses due to the Southern Californiawildfires. Those members can obtain a personal, unsecured loan upto $5,000.
