BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Who's Who in America's Credit Unions has announced that over 8,900 nominations have been submitted.
The nomination deadline for the inaugural edition of the nationwide credit union award and recognition program was October 15, 2007. "The number of nominations blew us away," Who's Who in America's Credit Unions President/CEO Kirk Cuevas said; Who's Who is a fully owned subsidiary of Dollar Associates LLC. "They just kept coming in both online and in the mail each day."
Next, nominees should be notified by Nov. 1 and biographical submissions must be submitted to the Editorial Advisory Board for evaluation by Dec. 1, 2007.

Over half of the nominees are credit union directors and other volunteer leaders. More than two thousand nominees' names were submitted by multiple nominators.
