SAN DIEGO — Credit union data processor Symitar, a Jack Henry & Associates subsidiary, has closed its office in the San Diego County area and has implemented its business continuity plan due to the still raging wildfires.

The firm said client service will not be interrupted.

Symitar said its office is not in direct danger of the fires, but decided to close it because of deteriorating county-wide air quality, and to enable Symitar employees to tend to personal situations. As part of the company's existing business continuity plan, incoming support calls will be directed to remote staff and to Symitar staff in the company's Allen, Texas, facility.
