ALEXANDRIA, Va. — NCUA publicly announced the retirement ofChief Financial Officer Dennis Winans at yearend.

Winans has spent 35 years in government service from serving inthe Marine Corps during Vietnam to joining NCUA in 1979. He hasserved an accountant and director of insurance within the Office ofExamination and Insurance. He has been CFO since 1995.

“I hate to see you go but I congratulate you on the decision,”NCUA Executive Director Len Skiles said in announcing Winans'departure.
