NEW YORK — The National Federation of Community Development Credit Unions has signed a deal which will allow it to promote individual development accounts (IDAs) under a contract from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

The program name is Assets for Independence and the Federation will work with its AFI Resource Center to provide information and training in IDAs for organizations seeking to offer them, the Federation said.
