ARLINGTON, Va. — Several key staff members at NASCUS received promotions last week, NASCUS President/CEO Mary Martha Fortney announced.

Brian Knight has been elevated to senior vice president of regulatory affairs, having worked for NASCUS since 1998. He is responsible for managing regulatory affairs, analyzing state and federal statutes and researching all aspects of credit union law and practices.

Barbara Pogue will now serve as senior vice president of corporate affairs and accreditation, managing NASCUS' Accreditation Program and providing strategic direction on organizational matters. She has been with NASCUS since 2001.

NASCUS management team member Jenny Champagne has been bumped up to vice president of regulatory development and education, working on regulatory affairs special projects and overseeing the educational programs, while Isaida Woo has been promoted to vice president of board and member relations.

Communications Director Kate Hartig will tackle the responsibilities of external affairs liaison in addition to her communications responsibilities. She has been with NASCUS since 2005.

Finally, O'Neal Isom Jr., who has been with NASCUS since last summer, was promoted to director of administrative services.

“NASCUS is excited to continue promoting the career development of the NASCUS management team and to provide opportunities for staff to grow with NASCUS,” Fortney said. “Our team has incredible longevity and valuable expertise that is a great benefit to our members and the state credit union system.”
