HIGHTSTOWN, N.J. — The branding initiative of the New Jersey Credit Union League has kicked off.

The league's “The Difference YOU Campaign” is up and running with Bob the Credit Union Guy as the star. Bob was created by the Utah League and adopted by New Jersey.

The campaign started Sept. 17 and goes through Oct. 14. It will be running on New Jersey public television, cable channels and radio stations in New Jersey. It will also be present on ww.politicsnj.com for the next year.

There are 1.2 million credit union members in New Jersey, however member growth has been flat in the last few years. New Jersey credit unions stepped up last year and agreed to fund the media campaign. Some New Jersey CUs that are not league members are also providing some funding.

The New Jersey League is getting set for its annual meeting in Atlantic City starting this Sunday.
