Washington State League Offers Compliance Tool

In what it calls a state-of-the-art compliance tool, the Washington Credit Union League said this week it is getting good reviews and more than 330 subscribers to an online compliance service in which CU staffers are promised answers to common regulatory questions "within eight business hours."

SPOKANE, Wash. — In what it calls a state-of-the-art compliance tool, the Washington Credit Union League said this week it is getting good reviews and more than 330 subscribers to an online compliance service in which CU staffers are promised answers to common regulatory questions “within eight business hours.”

The service, called “Compliance Answer Library,” eliminates tedious waits and excessive phone calls to league offices to obtain answers to common compliance questions, said officials of the league, which was promoting the service at the trade group’s annual convention convening here this week.
