TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Getting the chance to speak one-on-one with a Presidential hopeful doesn't come around often, so when the Florida Credit Union League got the opportunity they made sure to find out the candidate's position on credit unions.
Florida credit union leaders recently met with Democratic Presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama at a reception hosted by the Leon County Democratic Executive Committee in Tallahassee. Obama said he continues to be a strong supporter of credit unions and has had a lot of experience working with them on credit union initiatives in his home state of Illinois.
