WASHINGTON — Co-sponsors for the Credit Union Regulatory Improvements Act (H.R. 1537) climbed to 126 yesterday, including primary co-sponsor Paul Kanjorski (D-Pa.).

Republican Marilyn Musgrave (Colo.), who is serving her third term and sits on the Agriculture and Small Business committees, added her name to the list of co-sponsors this week.

Credit union lobbyists had been expecting a few new members to sign on as soon as Congress returned from the August recess following meetings in their districts with credit union leaders. Four legislators have done so.
