FORT WORTH, Texas — First Class American Credit Union is providing members an incentive to go green.
Hoping to help ease the pains at the gas pump, the credit union has launched the Go Green Loan, which offers a discounted rate for people who purchase fuel-efficient vehicles.
Typically, hybrid and alternative fuel vehicles are more expensive than normal vehicles. To lower the overall cost of purchasing these types of vehicles, FCACU's Go Green Loan has an interest rate .25% lower for any vehicle loan with 35 MPG highway or better.
The move is designed to help members save money on gasoline while protecting the environment.
