DALLAS — One more credit union will be merged out of existencethis weekend with the combination of Dallas credit unions CityCredit Union and Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) Federal CreditUnion.

According to the Dallas Business Journal, the two were to becomeone Sept. 1. City Credit Union was founded in 1942 to serve Dallas,Ellis and Cooke counties. It has 32,000 members and $179.4 millionDART FCU was founded in 1939 with numerous select employee groups.The $3.7 million credit union will serve as the DART branch of CityCredit Union, the report said.
