ST. LOUIS — Teenage Vantage Credit Union member Kyle Coggins recently had the chance to be a VIP for a day.
Coggins was selected as the winner of Vantage CU's VIP promotion, which encouraged youth ages 11-18 to save a little extra money this summer. The teen won a week's interest on a million dollars ($435), based on the credit union's savings rates for that balance, plus a day of VIP Treatment for him and three friends, just for depositing money into his Vantage savings account during June and July.
Coggins, who attends Christian Brothers College High School, chose a VIP day of thrills and spills at a local theme park. He was able to invite three friends, Cole Henderson, a fellow student at CBCHS, and Kevin McInerny and Erik Pollard, both from Duschne High School.

The credit union shuttled the four friends back and forth to the park in a Jaguar S-Type limo. The four received the works once at the theme park, including free admission, passes to the front of all lines, food and drinks. The day was a last summer fling as all four will be heading back to school this week.
"The credit union loves to reward students for building their savings any chance they get, and this was a very fun way for us to do so," said Vantage CU Vice President Marketing Kathy Palmer, who planned the VIP promotion.
