ST. LOUIS — Enterprise Car Sales raised $1,000 for scholarships for Southwest CUNA Management School by donating a five-day cruise for two as part of the SCMS Class of 2008 Fundraising Auction. The auction was held during the summer session of Southwest CUNA Management School at Texas Christian University.
Melanie Kennedy, president of Southwest Financial Federal Credit Union, said, "It was one of our highest bidding auction items. Enterprise was enthusiastic about coming up with an auction item that would have a significant impact and the cruise certainly accomplished that objective."
According to Anna Scheidt, marketing manager of Enterprise Car Sales in Dallas, the cruise donation demonstrates how Enterprise collaborates with credit unions to support their programs. She added that Enterprise Car Sales also enjoyed sponsoring a barbeque lunch for all attendees on the move-in day of the summer session.
