MADISON, Wis. — The Filene Research Institute has chosen 12 rising credit union executives to replace members of the group who have fulfilled their three-year term encouraging the development of new ideas and innovations for credit unions.

Each member will serve a three-year term and participate in semi-annual meetings arranged by Filene. The next meeting will be held Sept. 19-21 in Dallas.

"The Filene Research Institute is excited to tap the creativity and energy of these new members to help further innovation in the credit union industry," said Denise Gabel, Filene chief innovation officer. "This progressive work group will draw upon the talents from these highly talented credit union professionals. They will identify and evaluate potential innovations to help meet member needs. The i? group will also develop strategies to lower costs and increase credit union operational efficiencies, build member loyalty, and meet the special needs of member segments."

The most recent outputs of the group are highlighted in the Filene i3 Key Findings 3.0, which features overviews of recent innovative projects which are available for implementation in credit unions across the nation.

More than 100 executives from the United States and Canada submitted application to join i3, according to Filene.

The new members are: C. Lee Brice, Desert Schools FCU; Mary C. Dolan, Maine State CU; Mike J. Fletcher, Point West CU; Tammy L. Gallegos, America First CU; Chad M. Graves, Ent FCU; Bryan (Blake) Griffin, Firstmark CU; Jeanne M. Pickens, Rogue FCU; Caroline R. Redmann, Heritage CU; Rebecca A. Secor, Educators CU; Patricia (Trish) Shermot ,CTCE FCU; Shari Storm, Verity CU; and Ronald (Frank) Weidner, Alliant CU.
