PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. — Power Financial Credit Union is lending a helping hand to recently divorced women.
In honor of the first National Child-Centered Divorce Month, which was initiated by South Florida author Rosalind Sedacca, Power Financial has launched the Goal Oriented Planning Guide.
The 16-page booklet is geared toward helping divorcees meet their immediate and long-term financial goals. The guide was created to help this group of women raise questions and think through the financial decisions they make including a short assessment of their financial goals and objectives.

"We salute Rosalind Sedacca for taking the lead in organizing the first National Child-Centered Divorce Month," said Power Financial President/CEO Allan M. Prindle. "At Power Financial, we have always been committed to reaching out to those who want to feel more secure about their financial future, especially when they are going through difficult times, such as a divorce. With Sedacca's initiatives, we hope more and more businesses that reach out to this audience will focus on products and services that will help those affected get back on track without causing additional stress on all the parties involved, especially the kids."
According to Sedacca, the special designation is a way to stress the importance of putting children's physical, emotional and spiritual needs first when making crucial life-altering decisions affecting the entire family.
