MADISON, Wis. — CUNA Mutual Group has named Andy Napoli senior vice president of consumer products and head of its Consumer Insurance business unit.

“We are thrilled to welcome another proven leader to CUNA Mutual,” said Dave Lundgren, executive vice president and chief products officer. “Andy joins us in a newly-created position focused on leading our consumer product lines and increasing our ability to design new products and services for credit union members.”

Napoli brings a strong background in consumer product management from prior roles at Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company and the Progressive Group.

The former Nationwide Vice President of Standard Auto Product and Pricing was responsible for business strategy, product development and pricing for the $6 billion division.

In addition to his insurance background, Napoli was a U.S. Army officer and served a combat tour in the first Gulf War. He has a bachelor's degree in applied mathematics from the U.S. Military Academy and a master's degree in statistics from Georgia Institute of Technology.

Napoli will be based in CUNA Mutual's Madison headquarters.
