MADISON, Wis. — The judges and the categories they'll be judging have been named for the eighth annual CUNA Mutual/CUNA Lending Council Excellence in Lending Awards, which recognizes outstanding lending results by credit unions.
The Excellence in Lending Award identifies, recognizes and shares examples of lending excellence within the credit union movement by recognizing individual credit unions for their ability to serve their members while sustaining sound financial performance, according to CUNA Mutual. Credit unions demonstrating an ability to meet their members' needs through innovation are excellent award candidates.
This year's judges include:

-Mark Rothwell, branding management director at CUNA Mutual Group; Allan Steves, vice president and senior lending officer at Franklin Mint FCU; and Fawn Terwilliger, vice president of lending at Service Credit Union, will judge the Consumer Lending Excellence Award.
-Brian Shepherd, vice president of CMG Mortgage Insurance Co.; Phil Greer, senior vice president of loan administration at State Employees' Credit Union; and Bill Vogeney, senior vice president and chief lending officer at ENT FCU will judge the Mortgage Lending Excellence Award.
-George Hofheimer, research director for Filene Research Institute; Vicki Lovett, vice president of loan operation at Suncoast Schools FCU; and Mark Wilburn, chief lending officer at 66 FCU will judge the Low/Modest Means Award.
-Bill Klewin, LOANLINER product director at CUNA Mutual Group; Keith Reynolds, vice president of lending and business services at Citizens Equity First CU; and Lloyd Gill, executive vice president and chief operations officer at City County FCU will judge the Business Lending Award, which is new this year.
