ST. LOUIS — Credit unions get ready to support one of your own in transforming from drab to "fab."
Vantage Credit Union Public Relations Specialist Jennifer Allemann has been chosen from hundreds of applicants as one of 10 finalists in a national People Magazine style makeover contest.
After a look at a closet full of polo shirts and Dockers, on a whim Allemann submitted her entry to the magazine's search for America's deserving fashion victim in its Worst-to-Best-Dressed Style Makeover contest.

Her strong bargain shopping habit and uncanny ability to wear the wrong outfit for the occasion are some of the reasons Alleman made it to the final 10.
"As a PR professional, my job is to publicize the credit union. I'm the one behind the scenes working tirelessly to promote our brand. I thought it would be fun to jump in front of the spotlight instead of standing in the wings," said Allemann. "Image is very important when representing the credit union. I think I could benefit from a style makeover, we'll see how it goes!"
In addition to receiving a complete makeover and bags of brand-new clothing, the winner will also star in her own professional photo shoot, and her glamour shot will appear in a future issue of People.
To see Allemann's 10-minute video log onto People.com starting July 20.
Viewers are asked to vote for the individual they feel most deserves a style makeover.
